Lamusta-N

Lamusta-N

Lamusta N product is a combination of three anti-retroviral components Lamivudine, Stavudine and Nevirapine. Lamivudine and stavudine are members of the class of medications referred to as nucleotide reverse transcriptase inhibitors. Nevirapine belongs to the class of medication called non-nucleoside reverse transcriptase inhibitors. This medication is in oral tablet form.

The acquired immunodeficiency syndrome-causing human immunodeficiency virus rapidly becomes resistant. To avoid contracting HIV, therapeutic approaches need a mix of antiretroviral medications.

Lamivudine exhibits anti-hepatitis B virus viral properties. Intracellular metabolism produces lamivudine 5'-triphosphate, the active portion of lamivudine. It primarily acts as a viral reverse transcriptase chain terminator. In the cell area, lamivudine works in concert with HIV clinical isolates.

Stavudine triphosphate essentially reduces the production of DNA from mitochondria and inhibits the gamma and beta cells from the same nevirapine. In addition, it raises the CD4 cell count. White blood cells known as CD4 cells serve as essential for conserving an active immune system, which assists in the fight over illness. That interacts with deoxythymidine triphosphate to avoid human immunodeficiency virus reverse transcriptase from functioning.

Furthermore, it lacks a required 3’-OH group; that integration into viral DNA outcomes in the interruption of chain elongation. The replication of the DNA process plays a vital role in breaking the chain of infection.

Antiretroviral Therapy (ART)

HIV is the starting point of continuous destruction to the immune system through the loss of CD4+ lymphocytes. It is important because the cells fight germs and infection. Throughout the chronic phase, immune system stimulation enables HIV entry and replication to continue. Antiretroviral combinations are so potent that they decrease the plasma virus load to a level. That eliminates resistance by lowering the viral load. This works according to the needs of the body's cells.
