Ezee is a generic of an Azithromycin antibiotic with 250 and 500 mg strengths. It is for several bacterial infections, including ear, nose, strep throat, diarrhea, lungs, sinus, skin, and genital infections.

The family of acid-stable antibiotics known as macrolide antibiotics, which includes azithromycin, is identified by the macrolide ring, a large, ring-like structure. It functions by decreasing the bacterial growth. It inhibits messenger ribonucleic acid by attaching itself to the bacterial ribosome’s 50S subunit. The two subunits that comprise ribosomes, the cell’s mechanism to produce protein, are the large one, which is the 50S ribosomal subunit.

Cells contain single-stranded molecules called messenger RNA that help the ribosome synthesize protein by transporting genetic information from the deoxyribonucleic acid in the nucleus to the cytoplasm of the cell.

Ribosomal proteins facilitate a particular mechanism of protein synthesis that germs need to reproduce. By blocking both the formation of the 50S ribosomal subunit and the translocation phase of protein synthesis, it avoids germs from synthesizing proteins. As a consequence, several bacterial infections are suppressed. Azithromycin has broad-spectrum antibacterial qualities that align with its affinity for bacterial ribosomes. This composition is particularly stable at low pH, resulting in a longer serum life and high concentrations in cells.

Generally, antibacterial infection medication reduces the germs or makes it hard for the bacteria to increase and multiply in the cell. It interferes with infection reproduction, functions as a layer or coating for nearby germs, and decreases protein production in bacteria. These types of bacteria or infections may slow the immune system’s functioning.

Antibacterial generics directly function on the bacteria’s structure or layer; they may not affect body cells. Broad-spectrum antibiotics inhibit a greater number of bacteria. The immune system need to clear the germs for further functions in the body. As per the class of antibiotics, there are different mechanisms for the action and targeting the infection.
